Toxins aside, apples are one of the most convenient and delicious foods available to us. They provide vitamin C, soluble fibre, and many phytonutrients that help manage bodyweight, improve mood, and fight disease. And with so many varieties, you could, in theory, eat a different type of apple every day for more than 20 years!

So should we still adhere to the old saying “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”? Absolutely…just be sure to make them organically grown apples, preferably those from your local organic famers~
